Our Commitment
Accessibility is not a checkbox for us — it is the heart of what we do. New Start DD, Inc. serves Individuals with Developmental Disabilities, and we believe our website should welcome every visitor the same way our home does. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What We Have Done
This website uses readable text sizes and high-contrast color pairings, descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, keyboard-friendly navigation, clear headings and landmarks for screen readers, and buttons and links that are labeled and easy to tap on any device.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We review the site regularly and welcome feedback from visitors, Families and advocacy communities so we can keep improving.
